How To - Kayak

Join a Hobbs State Park interpreter and spend the morning birding from inside a kayak. Learn the basics of kayaking and enjoy the scenery on the lake, weather permitting. The Men's Fellowship group will host a breakfast for ALL kayakers (men and women) then Kerry Turnbow will lead the caravan to the Hobbs Visitor Center. All equipment is provided. Space is limited to 10 people. Bring a bottle of water, insect repellent, binoculars, and dress for the weather. Hobbs will have binoculars available for those without them. Minimum age 9. Registration cost is $18.
