Confirmation Worship Service

Confirmation Sunday is a special day that Central sets aside to celebrate the confirmation and baptism of our youth who have completed this year’s confirmation class. Over the past year, our confirmands have learned the foundations of the faith—what it means to follow Jesus in their daily lives, key beliefs and practices of the Church, and what it means to be a member of the United Methodist Church.
We believe it is important for the entire church family to surround and support these students. On this day, they will take vows committing their lives to Christ, as well as vows of membership within the church. These promises represent a sacred covenant with their church family.
In turn, we as a congregation will also take vows—to support, encourage, and walk alongside them in their faith journey for the rest of their lives. We take this covenant seriously, which is why we will gather as one unified service at 10:30am to surround them with love, prayer, and support.
